Get Your Guster Is For Lovers Bumper Sticker

News

ON THE OCEAN is happening in Portland, Maine the weekend of August 3-4-5 this year. It’s only our second year curating our own music festival, but it’s shaping up to be an awesome weekend celebrating Guster and showcasing Adam’s home state and their arrogant, self-aggrandizing motto (the way life should be). The goal is to cram in as much music and experience as we can into a weekend and hope it doesn’t rain. Worked out great last year!

This year we’ve lined up two headlining shows, and appearances from our friends Kishi Bashi, Secret Sisters, and Caroline Rose. On Sunday we’ll be hanging at the Portland Sea Dogs baseball game, throwing out the first pitch, grabbing some burgers and dogs, and discussing which minor league players are 5-tool prospects that the Red Sox ought to pay attention to.

There’ll be more stuff added and probably some last minute surprises too. Tickets for each event are still available, but start making your plans now. The weekend schedule is below.

We'll keep posting regular On The Ocean updates in the official Facebook event, so don't forget to RSVP and invite your friends.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Friday August 3rd

Guster At The State Theatre

We’re kicking everything off in downtown Portland at the State Theatre. Expect a different set than our On The Ocean set on Saturday night. One of Ryan’s favorite Vermonters, Caroline Rose, will be opening the show.

Guster Day With The Sea Dogs

Join us for Guster Day at Hadlock Field, home of the Portland Sea Dogs, for a family friendly day of baseball. The game starts at 1PM, but we’ll be playing catch on the field beginning at 10AM. And if you want, grab some burgers and dogs with us before we throw out the first pitch. Which member of Guster is most likely to get shot out of a t-shirt cannon?

Make sure to buy a General Admission ticket so that we can all sit together. General Admission Tickets are $9 for an adult, and $6 for kids. (It says $12 at first. Click through, we promise!)
