Get Your Guster Is For Lovers Bumper Sticker

This is a big announcement for us, Gusterrhoids! We’re putting on one final 25th Anniversary Weekend this summer at Thompson’s Point in Portland Maine.  August 12th.  We’re calling it “GUSTER — ON THE OCEAN” because the show is, well… waterfront.

And we’ve got The Maine Youth Rock Orchestra performing a set with us that night! And we’ve got a small all ages harbor cruise concert on 8/11! And we’re gonna kayak to a remote island and play an all ages concert on 8/13!  No one will starve / drown! And we’ve got a special Guster Party Amtrak train going up from Boston on 8/12 with special rates! And we’ve got the Ghost of Paul Revere and Spencer Albee opening up the show! And Adam’s gonna tell you all where to eat / drink / paddle board because he’s from Maine!

The milking of our 25th Anniversary officially ends with ON THE OCEAN and we’re going out with a destination weekend celebration the likes of which you won’t see again until we begin milking our 30th anniversary in 2022.

Tix ($40) go on sale Wednesday 5/3 at 10am via pre-sale (Code: ONTHEOCEAN) or Friday 5/5 at 10am to the general public. Get full info on all the festivities at:

We’re keeping a low profile this spring while we work on new songs, Gusterrhoids — but we’ll be joining our friends Dispatch in June/July for some tour dates in some amazing venues.

Presale tickets for these shows go on sale Monday February 20th at 10AM venue local time. Our set will be 50 minutes a night, followed by Dispatch. Stay tuned for some late additions and one more special 25th anniversary headlining show too...

Lost and Gone Forever (1999) comes out on vinyl today (2016) — why it took 17 years to reach this point, we do not know. We do know that it looks and sounds awesome, and starting side two with “All The Way Up To Heaven” just makes good sense. The LP’s artwork really shines in 12 X 12 form, like the kid is not just about to smash a broken piano with his boulder, but perhaps my face as well. These things don’t fit into stockings, but they make great under-the-tree / propped-carefully-against-a-menorah gifts. Order by December 19th to ensure timely holiday delivery.

Lost & Gone Forever is the simplest and perhaps most seminal Guster album. Recorded over a few weeks in 1999 with Steve Lillywhite, the band’s original instrumentation was embellished with just a few subtle choices. It’s an honor to hold this record in our hands!

Both the Slime Green (limited to 200) and Black 180g variants are available now at the Guster online merch store.
